Character assets for vocal synthesizer characters
Icon || idol
As much as a person loves a good high-quality synthesized vocal, A duet between Gumi and a technicolor letter just doesn't hit the same way.Iconidol Collection is a diverse selection of slick, simple character art and designs to use as a baseline for vocal synths with no designs.In a fandom based around creative exchange, the ability to bond over "characters" is invaluable. You should be able to get emotionally attached to the voices you spent money on. That's what a character design repository is for 💖currently a work in progress. Come back to check in on updates!

Vimalion
Project
The progenitor of synth design resources. Iconidol is (intentionally) a little plain and straightforward. If you want bolder designs that fit the rogues gallery of anime mascots better (or even if you just think one of my designs aren't hitting), Vimalion more thorough, more striking, and with more personalities. Mix and match these suckers!

This is a personal repository made for fun and sharing (and caring), not a full-scale project.

TUTORIALS
replacing synthesizer V background image
Characters can be displayed in the Synth V engine. To replace the image displayed, navigate to your Synthesizer V data folder. You can find this folder by checking the installation path.
Character databases include their license, their voice, their sidebar icon, and their character background.
Icon replacements must be named "profile". Background replacements must be named "background".You can do this with Lite versions as well!
Once the "background.png" file is detected, it will show up in the engine if "show character image" is turned on.
If you replace the "profile.png" file, the icon will also change on the voicebank list.
replacing Vocaloid profile image (Vocaloid5)
For V3/V4->V5
Navigate to:
Program Files\Common Files\VOCALOID5\Resource\Voice
Vocaloid5 contains profiles for all compatible libraries from previous Vocaloid versions. ex. VY1V4 is named BXHPEF4ANWRW3XEL
For V5 & V6 installs
Navigate to:
Program Files\Common Files\VOCALOID5\Voicelib
These are your libraries bundled with your copy of V5/V6.
For both default libraries and Voice Library installs, the install folders contain a "setup.bmp" image. Save the profile from this site as a "setup.bmp" file in whatever folder you need.
The voice selection screen will now feature your replacement.
VOCALOID5
Rendered sketches and profiles for use in-engine.

VY1 "Mokka"
A design that invokes VY1's Vocaloid5 more colourful box art, as opposed to the usual pinks. Mokka is a delightful mix between flower and festival theming.
Available assets:
Rendered Sketch, sketch profile
VY2 "Ryuuma"
A design that invokes the grungy gears of VY2's Vocaloid4 and Vocaloid5. Ryuuma is as simple and warm as you can get with a Japanese samurai.
